On the day one of Fes Desert Tours 3 Days, your driver will meet you at your accommodation and depart early from Fes. Begin your ascent through the Middle Atlas Mountains passing first by Ifrane “Morocco’s Switzerland” to arrive at the Cedar forests in Azrou. There you have a visit to see the monkeys in their natural habitat, besides it’s a good opportunity to take some photos. Then half way we stop in Midelt to have our lunch; this is a beautiful town famous for it fossils. Afterwards continue to Merzouga through the huge oasis of Ziz and Erfoud and Rissani. In the afternoon we arrive to Merzouga hotel where we will spend the night with dinner and breakfast.

On the last day of Fes Desert Tours 3 Days, we will wake you up in the morning to experience a wonderful sunrise on the top of the dunes.Then we take a camel ride once again enjoying the beautiful scene to Merzouga. After an exhilarating breakfast and shower, we will leave for Fes traveling via The Ziz Valley where we will stop to enjoy the panoramic views and take some memorable pictures. Then we head to Midelt for lunch at leisure and we continue via the Middle Atlas Mountains. Afterwards we will stop in Azrou’s Cedar forest to feed the monkeys and if time allows we will visit some nomads living in caves. We depart to Fes through the charming village of Immouzer. Finally drop off to your accommodation in Fes.

Today is dedicated to exploring the local life in the Sahara desert and the nearby nomad towns. After breakfast in the hotel broad your air conditioned vehicle and start discovering the berber villages, including khamlia village whose people are originated from Mali and Sudan, you will have the chance to visit them in their houses and learn about how the nomadic life looks like. Then we continue to Rissani an ancient town where caravans meet and it has a souk (market) live only on Thursdays and Sundays. From there we depart to Erfoud and explore the fossils there and we can take our lunch. In the afternoon we go back to Merzouga hotel relax a little bit, then we meet our camel caravan and start out the desert adventure so as not to miss the sunset. Venture deep in the far reaches dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the last few hours before it gets dark, you will climb the dunes and experience the sunset. Then trek back to the desert to enjoy your dinner and pass the night. After dinner watch the Berbers playing their folks and experience your first night under the stars.
