Itinerary

Today starting from Marrakech, you will explore this “Pearl of the South” and its most attractive sights. Including, the 19th-century Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque (reaching 230 feet in height), plus take the bask El Fnaa square (one of the most bustling places in Morocco). Additional highlights will be explored, if time permits. We will take our lunch, then transfer to Casablanca (Morocco’s economic capital). Upon arrival in Casablanca, you will enjoy free time to explore this impressive city. We will end our day with a drop off to your accommodation in Casablanca.

Casablanca – Rabat

In the morning meet our professional driver at your accommodation then depart to Rabat. First in Casablanca we will see Hassan II mosque, the world’s third- considerable mosque. Its flamboyant building that reflects the modern Moroccan architecture exquisite zellij and gilded cedar ceilings. We will also see the lovely coastal Cornish seaside. Then we continue our tour to Rabat, the capital politics of Morocco. Here you will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. This fascinating Mausoleum built in the traditional style carved plaster, patterned zellij and wooden cedar ceiling. So sightseeing of Rabat will also include the adjacent Hassan Tower an incredible wonder reveals the medieval Moorish style overlooking the sea. You’ll also have a visit to Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your accommodation in Rabat.

Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After breakfast in your riad, start your third day of Imperial Cities Tour. So we will leave Rabat and travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Upon arrival to Meknes which is another notable imperial city well-known as the Ismaili capital, the tour begins with exploring the monumental Bab El Mansour gate on the vast Lahdim square. Then a stop needed at Moulay Ismaïl museum and Sahrij Souani. Then after lunch depart to Volubilis (the Roman city), here you’ll have a short stroll in the wonderfully preserved mosaics columns and Roman path. As traveling through the countryside we will pass by Moulay Idriss’s Holy City for an opportunity to take pictures. Finally you’ll get to Fes where you will spend the night in a traditional riad coupled with dinner.

Explore Fes Medina

Today is dedicated to exploring the old world of Fes, a capturing UNESCO world heritage site and the first one to build in Morocco. In fact, Fes ancient Medina remains the city’s largest draw – a stretching out area of snaking alleyways, jumbled souks dotted palaces, Madrassas and mosques. After breakfast in your riad you’ll start exploring this dramatic ancient city. Roam with your local guide deep inside the narrow alleyways of the Medina and learn about the histories of its highlights including Al Quaraouiyine University (oldest one in the world), Attarine and Batha Museums, Bou Inania Medersa (Islamic school), Nejjarine Fountain. Visit tanneries, Mulay -Idriss mausoleum and Jewish quarter, local souks and more… Take your lunch on the Fassi way the most spacial and mouth-watering cuisine in Morocco. Finish your day with a drop off to your riad.
