Itinerary

Casablanca

Upon your arrival at the Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, you will be picked up by a professional driver and taken to your hotel/riad. Then, you will take a tour to explore the city of Casablanca where you will visit Hassan II Mosque, the world’s third-most considerable mosque whose flamboyance reflects the modern Moroccan architecture, exquisite zellij and gilded cedar ceilings. Finally, you will be taken back to your accommodation in Casablanca.

Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes

Following breakfast in your hotel, your day will begin with a departure to Rabat, the administrative and political capital of Morocco. Upon arrival in Rabat, you will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. You will be in awe of this fascinating structure built in the traditional style using carved plaster, patterned zellij, and wooden cedar ceilings. Sightseeing will also include the adjacent Hassan Tower – an incredible wonder demonstrating the Medieval Moorish style of architecture – that overlooks the sea. Following your visit to the Mausoleum, the tour will continue with a visit to the Royal Palace where you will have lunch in one of the traditional restaurants nearby before departing for Meknes. Meknes is the seventeenth-century capital whose ruler was Moulay Ismail. Here, you will have a guided tour of the monumental Bab El-Mansour, Granary of Sahrij Souani, Lahdim Square, and Moulay Ismaïl Museum. You will conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in hotel or riad.

Meknes – Volubilis Ruins – Fes

Departure for Fes will immediately follow breakfast. Along the way, you will stop at the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, an important preserved excavation in Africa dating back to the reign of the Roman Empire. You will take a brief stroll through the mosaic columns and temples before continuing to Fes. Upon arrival in Fes, you will be taken to your riad where you can have some time to rest, followed by free time in the afternoon to take a stroll in Fez el Jedid /” New Fez” (the new city) or just sit back and relax in one of the local terrace cafes in the old medina.

Explore Fes Medina

This day is dedicated to exploring the old world of Fes, a captivating UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes’ ancient Medina remains the city’s most significant draw – containing snaking alleyways, jumbled souks, dotted palaces, madrassas, and mosques. After breakfast in your riad, you will begin exploring this dramatic ancient city. You will walk with your local guide deep inside the narrow alleyways of the Medina and learn about the histories and highlights, including: Al Quaraouiyine University (the oldest one in the world), Attarine and Batha Museums, Bou Inania Medresa (Islamic school), and Najjarine Fountain. You will visit the oldest operating tannery in the world, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Jewish Quarter, local souks, and much more. A traditional Fassi lunch will be prepared for you, highlighting the savoriest cuisine in Morocco. You will then complete your day with a return to your riad.

Fes – Beni Mellal – Marrakech

This day will include both travel and adventure. After breakfast in your riad, you will depart via the Middle Atlas Mountains and lovely Berber villages. First, your journey will take you through Immouzer and Ifrane, lovingly known as “Little Switzerland”. Then, you will cross the Atlas Mountains, exploring stings of lakes, Alpine trees, and volcanic mountains. You will stop in Beni Mellal for lunch, then depart to Marrakech where you will be taken to your accommodation.

Marrakech Guided Tour

After a filling breakfast in the riad, you will meet your driver and begin exploring the “Pearl of the South”. Your guided tour covers the nineteenth-century Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque (reaching 230 feet high), Saadian Tombs, and stark towers. Next, you will visit the Majorelle Gardens, designed by the French painter, Jacques Majorelle. You will then be led on an escorted tour of the old Medina and discover the numerous artisanal handcrafts from leather, copper, wood and much more in the vibrant souks. After lunch, you will finish your day at Jemma El-Fna Square, the greatest place for spectacle shows and outdoor entertainment. You will find snake charmers, dancers, storytellers, and fire players (I’m not quite sure what these are). This electric medley makes Marrakech the most vibrant and exciting city. You will spend the night in your beautiful hotel or riad, marking the conclusion of our services.
